BRANDON HENRIE
As President of Clyde Capital Group, Brandon leads the team in identifying and initiating new projects, new partnering ventures, and opportunities for growth in other verticals. His roles prior to Clyde Capital Group include working as a consultant in brand and marketing strategy at Target, business development, and investment banking. Brandon is a visionary leader that is trailblazing new opportunities in real estate and expanding Clyde Capital Group.
Brandon has an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in business management and entrepreneurship. He is active in the chambers of commerce for Salt Lake, Utah, and Washington counties and serves on the board of trustees for EDC Utah.
Brandon loves to travel, ski, and is always up for trying a new meal. He, his wife Alison and their three children live in Orem, UT.
ROBERT BEHUNIN
After completing his PhD in Medieval and Renaissance Literature, Rob spent a career as a higher education administrator overseeing a variety of university programs: distance education, innovation campus development, technology transfer and spin-out companies, marketing and communications, and university fundraising.
After leaving higher education and before joining GWC, Rob was the Director of Utah Government & Public Affairs for R&R Partners working with public officials, policymakers, donors, investors, government funding entities and the private sector to create the necessary alignment to deliver the expected outcomes.
As the Division Manager for Business Services at GWC, Rob oversees the public and government affairs, marketing, branding, public relations, market analysis, and lifestyle management team for GWC projects.
BROOK COLE
Brook is the brain behind the beauty. With two decades of design and development experience, Brook has been involved in all aspects of planning, developing and construction golf courses, recreational resorts, mixed-use residential, commercial/retail, and master-planned community projects. Brook has a keen ability to visualize a property’s development potential, utilizing the natural and aesthetic features of the land. He has worked in several roles, including architect, project manager, principal planner, director, and president. Brook’s experience and creative aptitude enable him to lead projects from initial conception through final construction.
Brook graduated in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University.
He enjoys traveling with his family.
MITCH DANSIE
Before Mitch Dansie joined Clyde Capital Group, he had taken on the task of leading and developing 400 acres of family property in Herriman, UT. Clyde Capital Group recruited him to be the general manager of Desert Color, a 3400-acre master-planned community in St. George, UT. He now serves as the Vice President of Operations at Clyde Capital Group.
Mitch is an accomplished and proven finance and operations executive with over 15 years of international experience in project management and oversight. He has an extensive background in risk management, process improvement, and change management.
Mitch holds a BA in Finance from the University of Utah and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Co. prior to joining Clyde Capital Group.
The Dansie family is always on the go and enjoys immersing themselves in their passions whether it’s football, golf, or dance. Mitch is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to new places with his family.
DAVID SMITH
Dave has a background of proven financial expertise in construction, manufacturing, material sales and retail. He graduated from Utah Valley University with an MBA in Accounting and received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Utah. Prior to his transition to GWC, he spent 17+ years working in finance-related roles within the Clyde Companies, Inc.. Currently, Dave functions as the GWC VP of Asset Management, overseeing all financial planning and analysis for the company’s ventures.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys running, road biking, and being outside. He likes to cook, man the grill at BBQs, and crack jokes around the office.
CLAYTON RACKHAM
Clayton is a project manager for the GWC team. He sources deals through strategic partnerships with builder groups and real estate brokerages. He focuses on city’s growth plans and land use needs and then helps GWC in planning the right development to come at the right time in a particular area.
Clayton received an economics/business degree from BYU. He has a professional background in venture capital and financial analytics and can quickly assess risk and opportunities for GWC investors.
Outside of the office, Clayton loves rock climbing, good food, and the spontaneous fun that comes with raising young children.
SPENCER FARLEY
Prior to joining Clyde Capital Group in 2023, Spencer held various finance and accounting roles at Cardinal Health and Advanced Drainage Systems. Most recently, he provided underwriting support to Lument’s nationwide team of bankers with a focus on placing agency debt and preferred equity investments in real estate properties. He earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Brigham Young University, where his coursework focused on finance and real estate.
Spencer manages Clyde Capital Group’s underwriting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ongoing analysis to maximize project performance. He is a native of Farmington, Utah, and currently lives in Orem with his wife Janessa and three children.
NATHAN SCHELLENBERG
Nathan leads the team of construction and engineering professionals to design, secure approvals, and build GWC projects. Nathan holds a reputation for high-quality work and partnering. He is instrumental in business management and project management/development and is a visionary and capable leader of large and complex engineering and construction operations. He is a collaborative and empowering leader who builds, develops, and retains teams who execute well and successfully deliver complex projects. He is valued for his integrity and innovation.
Prior to joining GWC, Nathan was Vice President of Geneva Rock, where his leadership directed on target completion of over 400 projects per year.
Nathan has an MS in Civil Engineering from BYU and is a licensed professional engineer.
Nathan is married to Melissa Schellenberg and is the father of seven children. He loves to run, bake bread, and do anything his kids and grandkids are doing.
RYAN CHRISTOFFERSON
Ryan is Clyde Capital Group’s construction project manager and focuses his efforts on projects in Central Utah. He adds significant value to the team with his understanding of civil and vertical construction management. Prior to joining GWC, he worked in commercial construction.
Ryan has a Bachelor in Construction Management degree from Brigham Young University, is very involved in his community and church organizations as a volunteer.
Ryan and his wife Ashely live in Utah County and have two sweet young daughters. He enjoys mountain biking, hunting, Crossfit, and gardening.
RYAN COATES
Ryan Coates leads the marketing effort for Desert Color—a 3,400-acre master-planned community in St. George, UT. Ryan brings a passion for growing and developing businesses. He has enjoyed leading a startup private school, developing and marketing a new home efficiency company, and leading logistics and purchasing teams for large public and private corporations.
Ryan has an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a BS in Business Administration from Western International University.
He is an avid fan of Arizona sports teams and enjoys keeping up with his health and fitness routines.
Ryan, his wife and two children reside in St. George.
KATY ASKARNIA
Katy is the Administrative Assistant in Clyde Capital Group’s Boise office. She has worked in the administrative world for 10+ years in diverse fields. She has a passion for being part of a team that creates and develops enduring communities. She enjoys staying connected to her own community and new business developments in the Boise area. Katy and her husband have a 14-year-old son who is the light of their world. As a family, they spend their free time outdoors and exploring new places in and outside of Idaho.
MICHELLE GEDDE
Michelle is the Operations Specialist and is a significant asset to the GWC team. She has worked in the real estate development industry for 8 years, gaining experience in all aspects of tenant improvements and capital expenditures construction. In her current role, she has mastered the ins and outs of the horizontal construction process.
Michelle is passionate about advancing a project from start to finish and making the process seamless. In addition to working on two key projects in St. George, she also assists the team in other projects throughout Utah and Idaho.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys hiking, volunteering, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
DANIEL LEMICH
Daniel is the Area Manager of Construction for the area projects. He is skilled in project management, specifically civil and vertical construction management. Prior to joining GWC, Daniel worked in commercial construction and is also a licensed drone pilot.
Daniel graduated from Brigham Young University in Construction Management and Global Business Literacy. He is heavily involved in community and church organizations.
He enjoys hunting, BYU sports, and playing the guitar. He and his wife Kyra reside in St. George with their two young sons, Owen and Lucas.
LANDON NORTHEY
Landon is the Construction Manager for the northern area projects including Valnoa and Molinari Park developments in Idaho. He is key to the success of developing budgets, schedules, and strategic plans to deliver finished lots, amenities, and offsite improvements for these communities on time and on budget.
Prior to working at GWC, Landon worked for a homebuilder/developer for 7 years. He was involved in and managed a few communities in Treasure Valley, including a remote master plan community that required private sewer and water facilities. Landon also spent three years operating heavy equipment on various construction projects. This allowed him to obtain firsthand construction knowledge which he successfully implements in the management of the projects in which he is involved in.
Landon graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a Minor in Business Administration.
Landon grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Boise for college. He and his wife have three beautiful children. He absolutely loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with his family as they golf, wake surf, camp, hunt, and fish.
NICK WEAVER
Nick has vast experience in real estate financing and underwriting. Since completing graduate school in 2016, he has deployed approximately $2B in aggregate deal value, including a mix of equity, debt, mezzanine debt, and public/private funding mechanisms. In addition to underwriting and finance, Nick has led other development activities such as: team selection and leadership, project design, construction, deal structuring, purchase negotiations, entitlements and re-entitlements. He was also intimately involved in Deer Valley’s mixed-use base village. Nick received his MBA and undergraduate degrees from Utah Valley University. Nick and his family live in Eagle, Idaho.
TODD TURPIN
Todd is the Controller for the GWC team He oversees and maintains the financial processes including month-end close and analysis of results, year-end financial statement audits, and compliance in filing Sales Tax, IFTA, Personal Property, etc. He also assists in the processes and controls surrounding inventory management. Todd is intentional and is an asset in maintaining a sound financial process in a multi-location environment.
Todd has a sound background in audit, and prior to joining the Clyde Companies, worked at Deloitte as an auditor. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, as well as a Master’s Degree in Accounting.
Todd is married to his wife Alisha and they have a darling baby girl. He enjoys boating, snowboarding, and mtn biking in the outdoors, and is a Harley Enthusiast.
CHARISE SCHEYNAYDER
Charise Schexnayder is the Administrative Assistant at Desert Color St. George and loves creating an environment that is efficient, productive and positive. She has spent much of her career in the Information Technology industry working over 10 years for Yahoo! Inc. While she truly enjoys her new job at Desert Color by day, Charise also enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, reading and serving the youth in her local church.
STEVE SEARS
As a Field Supervisor, Steve oversees all Idaho-based GWC projects from wet utilities to paving to final sign offs with differing agencies. He manages scheduling and contractors, and he excels at keeping everyone on track to meet deadlines. Steve has a 30-year construction background and an Associate’s degree in Applied Science.
Growing up with a father in the military gave Steve the chance to live all over the world. He’s now located in Emmett, Idaho, with his wife. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and visits from his five grandchildren.
DEVAN CHRISTENSEN
Devan is a Southern Area Field Supervisor. He manages the day-to-day activities of horizontal development. Devan has an extensive background in Civil construction, Aggregate sales, QC, and Pre-Cast Concrete Sales. Before working with Clyde Capital Group, Devan opened his own Excavation business and managed projects ranging from large site work projects on LDS Stake Centers, civil improvements on city streets, utilities, subdivision development, and watershed projects throughout Utah.
Devan earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and is continuing his graduate studies. He is a certified Wastewater Designer Level 1 & 2. He is also a General Contractor in Utah, obtaining his B100 professional license. Devan’s other licensing includes Drone Pilot and CDL Class A with Doubles/Triples and tanker endorsements.
Devan grew up in Fairview Utah and spent his childhood playing in the mountains, on his dirt bike, and on the golf course. He adores his beautiful wife, 4 children, 2 stepchildren, and a grandson. He loves the process of real estate development and has a passion for changing landscapes.
JEN THIRIOT
Jen joined the Clyde Capital Group Team in 2023. New to the real estate and land development industry, she brings several years of experience from her background in software and start-up companies. Jen closely collaborates with GWC’s Executive Team to implement and deliver on internal projects and initiatives. She also works closely with the other EAs throughout The Clyde Companies. Her favorite part of the job is supporting GWC’s President and interacting with each employee on a regular basis.
Jen lives in Orem, UT with her husband. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, hiking, running, cooking, and spending time with nieces and nephews.
